Description

Different shapes and sizes ensure a secure and permanent fixation of central and peripheral venous catheters and cannulas with and without injection port. The transparent Leukomed I.V. film fixation plasters offer a high degree of therapeutic safety with simple and fast handling. Thanks to the transparency, the puncture site can be checked at any time while it is covered germ- and waterproof, without the need to change the dressing. The high water vapour permeability of the film prevents moisture accumulation and reduces the risk of macerations. The highly flexible, waterproof foil offers a very high level of wearing comfort and fits like a second skin. The wings made of polyester fleece are transversely elastic and therefore very cuddly. They provide additional stabilisation in the fixation (does not apply to order no. 7239004). Leukomed I.V. film fixation plasters are sterile and offer reliable protection against bacteria, viruses and infections. The rounded corners and the additional fixation strips guarantee a safe application.
