This test is used for rapid diagnosis and differentiation of virus types: Adeno, RSV and Influenza A + B.
Adenoviruses are a group of pathogens that cause a variety of diseases, including respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, eye conjunctiva and cornea. The viruses are highly contagious and resistant.
The respiratory syncytial virus (RS virus for short) is the most common cause of acute respiratory infections in infants and young children up to the age of three worldwide. During the first three months of life, these infections can be particularly severe. Premature babies are at great risk.
Influenza is an acute infection of the respiratory tract. In addition to the initial symptoms, it often causes loss of appetite, shortness of breath, dizziness, muscle, joint and eye pain. There is a strong general feeling of illness.
