If the heart stops beating, the brain is no longer supplied with oxygen and suffers irreparable damage unless the patient receives correct cardiac massage immediately. However often valuable minutes pass before the emergency doctor arrives, during which either no attempts at resuscitation are made or they are carried out incorrectly. This is exactly where the Cardio First Angel comes in, with it even the layman can perform a cardiac massage quickly and efficiently. Many first aiders cannot find the right place for a cardiac massage without support. With the cardio First Angel the massage is automatically carried out where it is most effective. A positioning aid ensures this. The device is placed in the middle of the chest and a drawing on the surface indicates how the hand should be placed. But, how hard should you press? The cardio First Angel provides security in this as well. A special spring signalises the perfect pressure of 41 kg with a clear click-sound. The click-sound is also audible with the following release of the spring. If the first-aider is geared to these two click-sounds he will automatically reach the required frequency of round about 100 compressions per minute. With the Cardio First Angel the time until the emergency doctor arrives, can be bridged. If the Cardio First Angel were at hand everywhere within 1 to 3 minutes, numerous lives could be saved and patients could be protected from longterm damage. So it ensures the best care in the crucial first minutes after cardiac arrest. Only mechanically it provides the necessary pressure, the most effective frequency and the correct positioning during a cardiac massage.

The specific design of the Cardio First Angel guarantees the correct positioning on the patients breast, so the cardiac massage works exactly where it is needed. A special foam creates a soft contact surface and absorbs sudor.
