Description
The 3M Aura + respirators are intended for areas of application with increased infection risk and/or with endangerment of the respiratory system. The respirators are classified according to the European standard EN 149 into protection levels FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3. For instance the German Association of Hospital Hygiene (DGKH) recommends respiratory masks of protection level FFP2 for the prevention of infection in cases of tuberculosis. As a general protection against bacteria, fungi and spores the use of respirators with protection level FFP2 is called for and for avoidance of virus infections protection level FFP3 is recommended.
